New Streets Completed

Okno is growing! Recently the construction of new streets was completed in the new subdivision at the east end of the village. Spruce Street and Maple Street are both extended east another block, while Tulip Drive was elongated to the north.

Additionally, we welcome two brand new streets to Okno. Running north to south along the eastern boundary is Cedar Drive, while Pine Street runs east to west in the northern portion of the subdivision.

This subdivision is bringing 21 new lots to Okno, and, according to developer Jeffrey Kornelsen, over three-quarters of them are already spoken for. This is evidence of both newcomers and young people finding Okno a desirable community to call home.

Hydro is expected later this summer and new owners will receive possession of their properties September 15.
